We’re intimately and exclusively involved in the field of AIDC: Automatic Identification and Data Collection. That is, we provide system solutions that eliminate ancient forms of process-driven data recording and collection — like writing on paper (centuries old) and keyboarding (100+ years old). We replace them with semi-automated, computer-driven strategies that use machine-readable symbols to identify things. Our systems most commonly use bar code technology, but that doesn’t prevent us from providing system solutions that use other “complementary” AIDC technologies like RFID (radio frequency identification).

The vast majority of the systems we provide identify, record, and track something: inventory, assets, people, tasks and activities, and are commonly used by front-line workers who are not necessarily computer-literate. Many of our solutions incorporate the Japanese business process strategy of poka-yoke — which basically means “mistake-proofing.” (The less politically correct among us would use the term "idiot-proofing.")

Our system projects involve many components: hardware, software, and media. To those, we add system design and pre-sales consultation. We are definitely not a supplier of only one type or brand of technology. Rather, we’re a company that helps its clients formulate solutions to their business problems through the applied use of technology.
